Riding Lessons
We offer riding lessons for beginner riders in private or small group settings.
Instruction in English (hunt seat / dressage) or western is available. Students with some previous experience can also inquire about learning natural horsemanship training techniques. Gain a solid classical riding seat, a good foundation for any discipline.
Rates are: $35/hr for private lessons (ages 7+), $25 for ages 3-6, discounts for families/semi-private lessons. If lessons are pre-payed at the beginning of each month there is a $5 discount off each lesson. A limited number of spots are currently available.
Lessons are taught by Elissa Dodson (Missouri State University, minor in Equine Studies, performed on the MSU equestrian team; over 15 years experience working with horses). Elissa's own children can often be found riding and helping train the lesson ponies around the ranch.

Horse Training
We train using the natural horsemanship methods laid out on this website. Elissa has ridden since childhood, began her formal horse training education in college (MO State University), and has continued learning and working with horses ever since. Her best teachers have been the multiple horses on the ranch that she has trained and keeps in shape, including her wild mustang, Chico. Clay, who grew up on the ranch and also learned how to ride as a child, helps train and fulfills all of our barefoot hoof trimming needs.
Limited spots are currently available. If you are interested in this service please feel free to contact us, we would love to talk to you about possibilities. Our horse training rates include one free lesson with your horse at our facilities and chances to observe training sessions.

Wine & Gardens
Our vineyard, orchard and gardens continue to be a work in progress. In the future we would love to offer our farm as a you-pick garden and orchard, and maybe even sell you a bottle of our homemade Norton wine! Please check back with us as we work towards this dream.
Farm Fresh Eggs
We are currently selling all of our eggs to friends and family. As our chicken flock continues to grow we may be able to extend our services to a broader clientele. Please contact us if you are interested.
